Prayer i.e. to be meditated on

Whenever we start a new work we pray. We pray to the eternal God or the idol God; so that the work we have taken in our hands may fulfill. Here in Dhyana Shlokam we see that the poet is paying his prayer to the Mother Bhagavat Geeta itself, the writer of this Bhagavat Geeta: Shri VedaVyas and at lastly  Lord Krishna who is delivering the knowledge to his friend Arjuna in Bhagavat Geeta.

What a metaphor that the poet interprets by saying that all the Upanishads are like cow, Arjuna the calf and Shri Krishna is milking them and who is drinking? all the saints, they are enjoying the milk of knowledge.

So I appeal to one and all to read Shri Bhagavat Geeta and drink the milk of knowledge.

With Love
Manoj
